SENATE EXPLODES, SCORES 30 POINTS IN 3 MINUTES. BEATS VEGAS 44 - 0

by Thomas Van Yperen

Salt Lake City, UT - With 3 minutes remaining in the first quarter, the Salt Lake Senate suddenly woke up. Two kickoffs were recovered by the Senate, and they quickly turned them into points.

In just 3 minutes, the Senate scored 30 points, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Las Vegas Saints. The final score was 44-0 in favor of the Salt Lake Senate, with star receiver JT Onnat responsible for three of the touchdowns.

The Senate will now enjoy a week off before their next game, a rematch against the Arizona Roadrunners on June 18th in Prescott, Arizona.

The Roadrunners defeated the Senate earlier in the season, so the Senate will be looking to exact some revenge. If the Senate can come out victorious in this matchup, they will put themselves in a good position to make a run at the playoffs.
