Senate Football Welcomes DR. Michael Kershaw as Team Chiropractor

Dr. Michael Kershaw was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. As a young man he attended Hillcrest High School in Midvale where he cultivated a variety of interests in an effort to be well-rounded. You could find him on the football field, leaping over hurdles on the track, or creating music in the orchestra, choir, or theater stages. It was during his time in high school that he visited his first chiropractor for help with persistent pain he experienced from a combination of physical contact from football and a leftward curve in his spine. He immediately became interested in chiropractic, and his other extracurricular activities helped him discover his love of interaction with people, service, and healthcare.

Michael obtained his undergraduate degree from Utah State University, where graduated with a BS in Human Movement Science. He still holds a special place in his heart for Logan, UT and thoroughly enjoyed receiving an education at USU.

Upon graduating, Michael packed up his things and moved to Dallas, TX to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Parker University. There, he strived to develop his adjusting skills in order to provide life changing chiropractic to his future patients. He learned and developed a passion for proactive health and preventative care and how to care for the body so that it takes care of you.

Michael graduated as a chiropractor in 2021 and opened Simple Chiropractic & Wellness in early 2022. He believes that wellness principles have a positive impact on everyone, and he’s made it his goal to show others how they can live a life free of pain and disease by taking a proactive approach to their lifestyles. At Simple, he emphasizes high-quality chiropractic care combined with effective functional movement to help people achieve improved quality of life.

When he’s not in the office, Michael loves to spend time with his friends and family. He still has a variety of interests and hobbies that keep him busy. He especially enjoys wakeboarding and being outdoors during the summers in Utah.

Michael strongly believes in the power, principles and message of chiropractic, holism, and vitalism. He believes the human body is powerful, intelligent, and self-sufficient. A healthy and well-regulated nervous system is the key to our body’s ability to adapt, integrate, and express our lives fully and happily, without pain, disease, or interference.
